The Teacher Student Relationship

The overall theme of this study is that the student and teacher's relationship is important to the professional development of both the preservice and inservice teacher. The meaning and nature of the experience, however, were different. Themes identified are related to (a) the purpose and outcomes of the student teaching experience, (b) the relationship between the student and teacher, and (c) the knowledge and skills of the student teacher.
