World Record of Reciting of VANDE-MATRAM 

On 14th August, 2015 in Indore at Dussehra Maidan a program was organized. The motive of the program was to make a World Record of reciting of “Vande Mataram”. Students of Pioneer Institute participated in the program to make this program a successful event. 

Celebration of Sadbhawna Diwas

With reference to the circular/AICTE Hqrs/2010/4974 dated 18th August, 2015, The Institute celebrated “Sadbhavna Diwas” on 20th August, 2015. The theme of “Sadbhavna Diwas” was to promote national integration and communal harmony among people of all religion, language and regions.  The idea behind observance of “Sadbhavna Diwas” was to abstain from violence and to promote goodwill among the people across the nation.

The students, faculty members and staff of the Institute took an oath on this day.

मैं प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ की मैं जाति, सम्प्रदाय, क्षेत्र, धर्म अथवा भाषा का भेदभाव किए बिना सभी भारतवासियों की भावनात्मक एकता और सदभावना के लिए कार्य करूंगा/करूंगी। मैं पुनः प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ की मैं हिंसा का सहारा लिए बिना सभी प्रकार के मदभेद बातचीत और सवैधानिक माध्यामो से सुलझाउंगा/ सुलझाउंगी ।

I take this solemn pledge that I will work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion or language. I further pledge that I shall resolve all differences among us through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence.

Seminar on Occasion of World Heart Day

The Institute conducted a Seminar on occasion of World Heart Day on 30th September 2015.  On this occasion a seminar was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Shrivastava, Cardiac and Medical Director at Medanta Hospital, Indore. The agenda of the Seminar was to aware students and faculty members about the certain facts about heart. The witness of the seminar was students of Under Graduate Courses (all semesters), Faculty and Staff members of Institute. 

A health education was given by him through posters, models, videos about Heart Healthy Environment and successful steps to prevent various heart problems. He also informed that heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading causes of death, claiming 17.3 million lives each year. He said that the places in which we live, work and play should not increase our risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). But individuals frequently cannot make heart-healthy choices due to environmental factors, such as the availability of healthy food or smoke-free zones. 

The information that he provided was very useful and will help the students, faculty and staff members in understanding the various heart related problems, their causes and dealing with this problem in future. Overall the seminar was very informative and educated on a necessary steps follow to prevent the cardiovascular diseases.

Eye Check-up Camp by Rajas Eye & Retina Research Centre On 12th August, 2015 Pioneer Institute organized a free Eye Check-up Camp. This camp was in continuation of last year’s initiative of the Social Cell which was conducted in the Institute by Rajas Eye Clinic. The check-up camp was carried out to facilitate early detection of deficiencies and general eye problems of Pioneer Employees and students.  

Stall by Rotary Paul Harris School on Occasion of Raksha Bandhan

The Institute has a separate Social & Entrepreneurship Cell that contributes towards the society. This time on 21st August, 2015, the institute encouraged and appreciated the efforts of especially abled children by purchasing the handmade items made by students’ of Rotary Paul Harris School.
