Free Health Check-up Camp by Pioneer Institute under NSS SFU Unit 01

NSS SFU Unit 01 of Pioneer Institute of Professional Studies, Indore organized a Free Health Check-up Camp for the residents of Mahalaxmi Nagar on 25th May 2015. The camp was attended by more than 50 residents that included people of all age groups.

The Institute has a homeopathy OPD within the premises, which is a well established department and is being visited by many patients from outside the campus. Recently free distribution of medicines for prevention of Swine Flu was done by the department. Dr. A. K. Dwivedi and his team were present at the campus for the camp, wherein they performed regular check up and also guided on several other issues pertaining to skin allergy. Dr. Ashvini Kumar Dwivedi, the brightest star on the Homoeopathic horizon of Madhya Pradesh, needs no formal introduction. Dr. Dwivedi is Professor and Head of  the Department of  Physiology including Biochemistry, SRKP Gujarati Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Indore from December 5, 2001 and visiting Professor to the Institute of Management Studies, Indore (under Devi Ahilya University). Dr. Dwivedi, on the one hand is the editor of Sehat Evam Surat , a well-read Hindi monthly medical magazine  in Indore and outside on way of treatment, causes, preventive measures and in general on a Various mode of treatments, disease lifestyle etc.

Free medicines were also made available to the patients who turned up for health check up.
